Your Role in the Story

At Acts29, we know the battle against slavery, trafficking and exploitation cannot be fought alone. That is why we are raising up an army, The Rescue Team. The Rescue Team is not a title, it’s a calling. It is a movement of people willing to step onto the frontlines of freedom, to engage the broken, inspire the weary and equip the voiceless with hope and dignity. This fight is not for a select few—it is for all of us. And your role matters.

Guardian

At Acts29, we call them Guardians because they do what no one else will: protect the rescued. When a family is freed from slavery or a girl escapes exploitation, the danger does not end at the moment of rescue. Without shelter, provision and care, they are hunted, vulnerable and at risk of falling back into the same nightmare. Guardians step into this gap.

As a Guardian, you provide safe homes, food, medical care and covering through the local church. You ensure survivors are not only rescued but restored. You are the shield that keeps them from ever returning to the chains they once knew. Guardians are the ones who whisper through their actions “You are safe. You are seen. You are loved.”

This role is not passive—it is fierce. Guardians stand watch over widows, orphans and broken families, ensuring they can rebuild their lives with dignity, faith and hope.

Ambassador

At Acts29, we call them Ambassadors because they carry the cry of the oppressed into places the oppressed cannot go. An Ambassador does more than stand for freedom; they speak for it, represent it and multiply it. When you share the stories of survivors, raise awareness in your community or call others to action, you are amplifying the voice of the voiceless.

Ambassadors are not silent supporters, They are proclaimers. They step into rooms, pulpits and conversations where the enslaved will never be heard and they become their voice. They awaken churches, inspire friends and ignite movements. As a Ambassador, your role is prophetic: you announce freedom in places where chains still echo and in doing so, you open doors for rescues, restoration, and revival.

Ambassadors don’t just talk about freedom—they carry it everywhere they go.

Prayer Warrior

At Acts29, we call them Prayer Warriors because this fight is not against flesh and blood. Every rescue, every safe house, every miracle in hostile ground begins with prayer. We have seen the power of intercession tear through darkness, silence witchcraft and shield our teams when danger was closing in. But we also know this truth: when we join the fight, the enemy prowls, waiting to strike.

Prayer Warriors hold the line. They cover our leaders, rescued families and underground churches with relentless prayer and fasting. They push back fear, disease and spiritual attack, creating a shield over every person carrying the gospel into dangerous territory.

You may never enter a brick kiln or walk through a trafficking route, but your prayers go before us like fire. Every victory we witness —every soul rescued, every miracle seen begins with a Prayer Warrior standing in the gap.

Prayer Warriors don’t retreat. They wage war on their knees.
